Print Information
I believe that as creators it is our responsibility to ensure the products we bring into this world are not costing the planet and contributing to our waste.
Two options become apparent, the first is to design products with a short life and the ability to fully recycle, reuse or decompose, the second option is to produce products of high quality and longevity, enabling them to be valued long into the future. All prints sold here are produced with quality and archival longevity in mind.
Choosing your Print
Rag Photo Paper
Fine art papers have been the traditional medium for photographic printing, with a diverse range of paper available, specific qualities of texture, weight, white-tone and tonal-range can be achieved.
Canson® Infinity Platine Fibre Rag is the chosen medium for this print range. Made in France, it's a 100% cotton based, heavy-weight 310GSM paper characterised by the similar appearance and tactile qualities of traditional darkroom papers.
The paper has the ability to display a large tonal range from deep blacks to natural highlights creating greater depth in images, while retaining fine details and accurate colours.
While the paper itself exceeds the museum grade standard (ISO 9706) for longevity, it is recommended to have your print framed behind UV resistant glass to further prolong the life.
For more information on print permanence of Canson® Infinity papers with Epson UltraChrome inks visit Wilhelm Imaging Research, the world’s leading independent print permanence testing laboratory.
Stretched Canvas
Canvas prints are durable material prints, ideal for larger sizes. Investing in a canvas print removes the need for glass and any additional framing, although additional frames can further enhance the photographs depending on the location.
Hahnemühle Digital FineArt Daguerre Canvas is the chosen medium for this print range. Made in Germany, it's a poly-cotton, heavy-weight 400GSM canvas characterised by it's naturally bright white matt surface.
While this canvas itself exceeds the museum grade standard (ISO 9706) for longevity, these prints have also been covered with an additional UV resistant coating to further protect and extend the life of the prints beyond our lifetimes.
